You can use Dragon to edit text whether that text was created by voice or not. This simulation introduces a few Direct Editing Commands.
To begin, click the microphone button.
Say: On May fourth 2012
Say: the high school will be open at one thirty pm full stop
Say: BOLD one thirty PM
Say: ITALICIZE open
Say: DELETE 2012
Note: After each of these commands, the cursor returned to its position so you could resume dictating from there.
Say: MICROPHONE OFF
