About command sets

Overview

About

A command set is a group of custom commands that is shared with all Dragon client computers. To create a command set, you export your selected custom commands from the Command Browser. An NMC administrator then imports the exported .DAT file in the NMC console. When Dragon client users next log in, Dragon retrieves the command set from the NMC console, making the custom commands available to everyone.

A command set may include:

  • Auto-Text/Text and Graphic commands
  • Step-by-Step commands
  • Advanced Scripting commands

Command sets are available on all computers where you log in to Dragon. You can view your command sets in the Command Browser.

You can only use command sets when Nuance Management Center/NMS mode is enabled. You cannot use command sets in Standalone mode.

Optional?

Yes.
