Subscription Information dialog box

When you purchase a Dragon Professional Individual or Dragon Legal Individual subscription, the Subscription Information dialog box allows you to connect to Dragon using your Nuance account. This dialog box appears the first time you connect to Dragon after installation.

When you connect, Dragon does the following:

  • Validates your subscription license and expiration date. If your subscription has expired, a message appears.

    For more information, see Troubleshooting below.

  • If you're using Dragon Anywhere, synchronizes your custom words and Auto-Text commands with Dragon Anywhere. Dragon ensures your words and Auto-Texts are shared and available on both your desktop and your mobile devices, regardless of where you created them.

Dragon performs these each time you connect.

To connect to Dragon, specify the following.

Option Description

Nuance Account

Email address you used to create your Nuance account when you purchased your subscription.

Password

Nuance account password.

Troubleshooting

Issue Procedure

Subscription expired

In the Subscription Information dialog box, click the Click here link to renew your subscription.

Nuance renews your subscription automatically each subscription period unless you cancel. If your subscription expired, there may be a problem with your payment method.

You cannot use Dragon until you renew your subscription.

Forgotten password

  1. In the Subscription Information dialog box, click the Click here link.

    The Nuance My Account Login page appears.

  2. Click the Forgot Password? link.

    The Forgot Password? page appears.

  3. Specify your email address, and then click submit.

    Nuance sends your password to your email account.

Changing your password

Follow the instructions for Forgotten password above. Then, do the following:

  1. From the DragonBar, select Tools>Options.

    The Options dialog box opens.

  2. Click Subscription Information.

    The Subscription Information page appears.

  3. Specify your new password in the Password field.
  4. Click OK.

Viewing subscription expiration date

In the Subscription Information dialog box, click the Click here link to return to the Nuance web site and view your subscription renewal date. Nuance renews your subscription automatically each month unless you cancel.

Connection issues
  • Ensure you entered your password correctly.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Ensure your subscription has not expired.

Dragon also provides on-screen guidance when a connection issue occurs.

If Dragon cannot verify your subscription status due to a connection issue, Dragon allows you to log in and use the product for up to 30 days.
