MyCommands Properties dialog box

Use the MyCommands Properties dialog box to change the properties of voice commands you select in the Command Browser.

Note: If your Dragon software is administered with the Nuance Management Server, you won't be able to edit or delete any commands your administrator has disabled. 

Option Description
Group

List of categories by which you can group your commands.

Availability

Indicates how the command is available to Dragon. The options are:

  • Global: Available in every application.
  • Application-specific: Available in the application you specify. When you select this option, the applications that are currently open on your computer appear in a list. If the application you want is not open, click the Browse button to locate the application on your computer.
  • Window-specific: Available in the window you specify. When you select this option, the Application and Window lists appear. If window you want is not in the list, you must close the Command Browser, open the window you want, and then reopen it.
Application Available only for application-specific and window-specific commands. Applications that are currently open on your computer. If the application you want is not open, click the Browse button to locate the application on your computer.
Window Available only for window-specific commands. The window in which the command works. If window you want is not in the list, you must close the Command Browser, open the window you want, and then reopen it.
