Working with the Finder
Use these commands to navigate and control the Finder. Use the menu walking commands to access other Finder features.
Window displayTo show or hide bars in Finder windows

File or folder names will be selected in alphabetical order. To view a Quick Look heads up display of the selected item
To view the original file associated with a selected alias
To deselect all items in the current folder

Creating and deletingTo create a new folder
To create a copy of the selected item(s)
To create an alias of the selected item
To create a compressed Zip file of the selected folder
To delete the selected item(s)
To permanently delete all files in the Trash folder

Navigating windowsTo go to the next or previous view in the active window
To go to the enclosing folder for the selected item
To go to a specific folder
Available folders include: To open the Go to Folder dialog in your Finder
To search the Finder
