Nuance Healthcare ID (NHID)

Dear Valued Nuance Healthcare customer,

As a trusted vendor, Nuance Communications, Inc. ("Nuance") uses leading technology to address our customers' needs and continuously evolve to improve our solutions.

As part of this evolution to improve performance and provide better user experiences, the Nuance Healthcare ID (NHID) will no longer be supported by Nuance and will be discontinued as of April 1st, 2024.

The impact of the discontinuation will affect registered NHID users that had access to speech within the Imprivata Cortext application. Imprivata has discontinued the Cortext application and as a result, Nuance has ended speech support.

Additionally, registered NHID users all had access to Nuance Clinical Calculators. This limited selection of calculators has been replaced with a much more expansive collection of calculators from MDCalc(pdf. Open a new window).
