Overview

Nuance Voice Platform 3.0 offers the latest speech technologies, application design tools that incorporate Nuance's design best practices and an open, standards-based architecture that allows companies to leverage their existing investments in highly scalable IT infrastructure. Customers can also benefit from the seamless migration between on-premise and hosted environments.

The Nuance Voice Platform 3.0 is comprised of three major components:

  • Nuance Conversation Server™
    The Nuance Conversation Server allows the system to integrate with the telephony network, and enables VoiceXML-based speech interactions by leveraging the same functionality offered in Nuance's industry leading speech engines:
  • Nuance Management Station™
    Powerful and secure operations, administration and maintenance (OA&M) capabilities are available with the Nuance Management Station. Advanced performance management and reporting features allow system administrators and operators to efficiently manage and maintain all aspects of their speech systems to ensure high service availability. At the same time, business managers can assess how well the system is delivering on key company objectives through tools like ROI Tracker™ which automatically measures and reports in real-time the system's cost-saving or revenue-generating performance against specific success metrics defined during the early phases of the speech application planning process. Finally, application developers are able to effectively analyze and tune voice application performance and usability.
  • Nuance Application Environment™
    The Nuance Application Environment facilitates the creation of applications that can improve the caller experience, increase automation rates and drive down development costs 30% or more. Nuance Application Environment is comprised of two components, Nuance V-Builder™ 3.0 and Nuance V-Server™, and includes a host of new features and capabilities that facilitate creation of applications by both IVR and Web developers. In addition, the Nuance Application Environment facilitates integration with back-end Web-based infrastructure and legacy systems.
