| Overview |
|
VoCon SF is Nuance's small-footprint solution for automotive applications like hands-free car kits and telematic systems. It enables development of a broad range of voice-controlled applications including command and control, name and number dialing, address book management, and menu navigation. Central to the development framework is the VoCon SF engine, a modular, noise robust speech recognizer that offers high accuracy and fast response time. Ideal for driving low-cost, embedded DSP solutions in automotive, telematics, and consumer electronics, the VoCon SF engine is available in a full version (<100 kBytes) and a VoCon SF Lite version (<25 kBytes) to meet varying platform requirements.
The VoCon SF engine is complemented by supporting software modules and integration tools, as well as dedicated language databases for speaker-independent recognition, to reduce development time and ease integration. Additional product integration and UI consulting services are available to assist customers at all phases of development, integration, and testing. VoCon SF Designer is an easy-to-use application development and UI design kit that supports the generation of speech dialogues and prototype applications. It comes with the VoCon SF SDK (Software Development Kit) that allows developers to experience the functionality of VoCon SF and its related application interface (VOCAPI).
