Implementing SpeechPAK Application Kits

SpeechPAK-based applications are supported by our market-leading foundation speech technologies, including OpenSpeech™ Recognizer (OSR) and RealSpeak™. SpeechPAK application kits can be configured and customized by Nuance Professional Services or other qualified professional services organizations. Typical customization tasks include application-specific branding and backend and platform integration. SpeechPAK kits enable businesses to take advantage of the financial and customer service benefits delivered through speech automation more quickly than has been possible before.

Call flows are implemented using the revolutionary xHMI dialog configuration language, maximizing your choice of customization tools and runtime environments. Our application kits also benefit from OpenSpeech™ DialogModules™ (OSDMs) and PAKDMs—the foundation of our proven building-block approach to application development. PAKDMs are conceptually similar to OSDMs, but are higher level and vertically oriented.
