The OmniPage Capture SDK's recognition technologies can be accessed through a C API or ActiveX interface. Support for Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP application development gives developers the ability to easily create applications with a wide variety of recognition technologies using a single set of developer tools.

Developer System Requirements

• Windows XP, Windows 2000 (SP4)
• Pentium personal computer with 133 MHz or higher processor (at least Pentium II is recommended)
• 128 MB minimum RAM (recommended 256 MB, or more for working with grayscale or color images)
• 100 MB free disk space
• VGA or higher-resolution monitor with 2 MB RAM (Super VGA recommended)
• CD-ROM drive

Runtime System Requirements

• Windows XP, Windows 2000 (SP4)
• Pentium personal computer with 133 MHz or higher processor (at least Pentium II is recommended)
• 96 MB minimum RAM (recommended 128 MB, or more for working with grayscale or color images)
• Up to 60 MB free disk space (less if not all recognition modules are distributed)
• VGA or higher-resolution monitor with 2 MB RAM (Super VGA recommended)
• While we have not performed tests on WinXP x64, the program will run on the system.

The following development tools are considered as "fully supported" by the Capture SDK.

• Microsoft Visual Basic, Version 6.0 SP5 or higher
• Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003 Version 7.1
