Enterprise Express Voice and Text Administrative Training — at Melbourne Customer Education Center Class description: This course is a refresher course designed for customers using a Dictaphone EXVoice and EXText system. It is intended for Administrators who are in need of additional training or who have recently been assigned administrative responsibilities of the system. The course is designed to visit objectives to assist the client in obtaining a level of product knowledge that will enable them to independently operate EXVoice and EXText applications. This course is approved by AHIMA for 15 CEU credits upon completion. Prerequisites: Administrators having exposure to basic workflow and admin privileges, working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Class description: This course is divided into two parts. Templates Part 1: Provides an overview of the EXText system and how it integrates with the EXVoice system to allow dictation to enter the system. The main topic of the course is the creation of worktype templates to maximize transcriptionist productivity. The different templates relate to worktypes (document categories) set up in EXVoice, such as History and Physical, Consultation, Discharge Summary, and Office Notes. The demonstrations show how setting up worktype templates saves time by inserting standard text phrases into reports, expanding abbreviations with a single keystroke and inserting tokens to automatically include data. After taking this class, the System Administrator will know how to create global or site-specific worktype templates, set template defaults, use headers and footers, and insert tokens. Templates Part 2: Continues the training on configuring worktype templates in the EXText system. The three main topics of the course are completing the template format to automate the insertion of information as much as possible, testing the worktype template, and creating other worktype templates from an existing template. After taking this class, the System Administrator will know how to insert jump codes, add graphics by linking to a shared file or folder, test a worktype template in EXText Word Client, and create a document using a template.
