Nuance Healthcare Connections Partner Program
The Nuance Healthcare Connections Partner Program drives additional value for our partners’ solutions by speech-enabling their applications, which improves the process of clinical documentation and communication. The Program enhances our partners’ revenue and market share through initiatives that enhance our partners’ sales, marketing, training, and development activities.
The Healthcare Connections Partner Program supports a broad range of vendors including:
- EMR, EHR, HIS, PACS, RIS and other software providers who speech-enable their applications, which significantly improves the end user experience by enriching productivity and documentation quality. These vendors either embed Nuance speech recognition within their solution or resell speech recognition as a value-added enhancement. *Note: These vendors qualify for one of two specific programs based on their profile (program qualification is described below).
- Systems integrators or solutions providers, who combine Nuance speech products with 3rd-party clinical software to meet end users’ requirements and long-term direction.
- Authorized value-added distribution partners, who facilitate their business growth via the program’s sales, marketing, and technical resources.
What is the Nuance Healthcare Connections Partner Program About?
The Healthcare Connections Partner Program is Nuance Healthcare’s single face to the healthcare community and includes market leaders in every health care IT segment, who sell to health systems, hospitals, clinics, practices, and other provider organizations, regardless of size or specialty.
The Program serves two distinct channels within Nuance’s Healthcare division. Each channel is offered a valuable series of entitlements and requirements to optimize its success.
Connections Direct Partner Program
The Connections Direct Partner Program is for partners selling clinical solutions that work directly with Nuance and sell directly to provider organizations, tightly integrating speech solutions as a strategic part of their own offerings. They are Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), who either:
- Co-market a Nuance solution as an option for customers of their own clinical information system, RIS/PACS or EMR/EHR, or
- Embed a Nuance Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)-marketed solution as a standard part of their own offerings.
Partners selling directly to large (25+ doctor) physician practices or large (300+) bed hospitals are strong candidates for this program. These partners may re-market one or more of the entire suite of Healthcare products.
Connections Channel Partner Program
The Connections Channel Partner Program is targeted for value-added distributors, resellers, and EMR/EHR vendors, who sell principally to:
- Small (1-5 doctor) physician practices
- Mid-sized (6-25 doctor) physician practices
- Small- to mid-size hospitals (300 beds or less)
- EHR/EMR vendors or service providers which sell principally into one or more of the above markets
The Connections Channel Partner Program is the most cost-effective method for reselling Dragon Medical into a price-sensitive, existing distribution network for clinical solutions, regardless of whether they're a value-added distributors, value added resellers, or EMR/EHR vendors focused on the market segments above.
